The Motley Fool

More than 49 million retired workers received a Social Security check in June 2023, and the vast majority of those individuals depend on monthly benefits to some degree, according to Gallup. For that reason, retired workers need to stay current on the program. Social Security undergoes several changes on an annual basis, and understanding those changes can help beneficiaries better budget their money.

Which Companies Will Be Winners in the AI Arms Race?

The Motley Fool

One of my favorite technology research analysts is Dan Ives of Wedbush Securities. About a month ago he referred to the boom in artificial intelligence (AI) as a "1995 moment" for the technology sector. For those of you who don't get the reference, he's talking about the widespread adoption of the internet and how it impacted the world thereafter. I've been suspicious for a while that AI is quickly mutating into Wall Street's new favorite buzzword (a la "metaverse" or "blockchain").

3 Things About Tilray Brands That Smart Investors Know

With its stock up by 85% in the last 30 days alone, the global marijuana magnate Tilray Brands (NASDAQ: TLRY) is on a hot streak, to say the least. Between the start of a bounceback in the North American marijuana market, the end of the bear market, and big strategic plays, this company is quickly shedding the afflictions that kept its stock in decline over the last few years.

Warren Buffett's Favorite Stock Just Did Something It Hasn't Done Since 2016

The Motley Fool

When examining Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway investment portfolio, it's hard to deny what his favorite stock is. With around 45% of the portfolio wrapped up in Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) stock, it's pretty clear he prefers this company over others (especially considering the next-highest weight in his portfolio is 9%). However, Apple just did something it hasn't done in seven years.

This 7.3%-Yielding Dividend Stock Remains an Excellent Income Investment

The Motley Fool

Enbridge (NYSE: ENB) has an exceptional history of paying dividends. The Canadian pipeline and utility giant has increased its payout for 28 straight years. Fueling that steady growth is Enbridge's ability to expand its network of income-producing energy infrastructure assets. The company remains an excellent option for income-seeking investors. That was clear again this quarter as it produced steady results and continued making progress in securing new sources of earnings growth.

Better Buy: XRP or Polygon?

The Motley Fool

Among the list of top cryptocurrencies trading for less than $1, two names stand out: XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) and Polygon (CRYPTO: MATIC). Is AT&T Stock a Buy Now?

The Motley Fool

U.S. telecom company AT&T (NYSE: T) might be the latest example of a stock that seems like it can't go much lower -- shares of the company trade for roughly $14 each, their lowest price since the mid-1990s. But there must be a bottom. After all, AT&T is the leading wireless carrier in the United States, and the company is doing some positive things in its core wireless business.

Cloudflare Just Proved Why It's an Unstoppable AI Stock

When an investment trend as hot as artificial intelligence (AI) comes along, almost every company will try to tell investors how it is deploying or investing in it. Cloudflare 's (NYSE: NET) product isn't rooted in AI but provides its customers with the tools they need to make AI work for them.
