Global law firm White & Case is expanding its global debt finance practice and has appointed Lauren Winter, who has joined from Shearman & Sterling where she was Counsel, as a Partner in London.
Winter focuses on cross-border and UK acquisition finance and restructurings, advising investment banks, alternative credit providers, corporate borrowers and private equity sponsors on various debt capital structures in the European large-cap and mid-cap markets. She advises on major financing structures including syndicated covenant-lite financings, unitranche financings, second lien loan financings and super-senior revolving credit facility and high yield bond financings, as well as subordinated instruments including holdco financings.
White & Case has dedicated bank lending, private credit & direct lending and borrower finance teams.
The law firm advises banks, credit funds, alternative capital providers, sponsors and corporations on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, refinancings and recapitalisations; asset-based loans, real estate, structured trade, commodity and investment-grade financings and other financing transactions; special situations and distressed lending; and workouts, restructurings, debtor-in-possession financings and exit financings.
