Stanley Capital appoints two Principals

Stanley Capital Partners, a specialist healthcare and resource efficiency private equity investment firm, has expanded its team with the appointments of James Sexton and Frederik Fogtdal to the position of Principal.

Stanley Capital Partners (Stanley), a specialist healthcare and resource efficiency private equity investment firm, has expanded its team with the appointments of James Sexton and Frederik Fogtdal to the position of Principal.

Sexton joins Stanley’s growth and investor relations team with a key focus on fundraising activities while Fogtdal will strengthen Stanley’s transformation team, working with portfolio companies to develop operational efficiencies and drive growth.

Sexton started his career as an investment consultant at Aon Hewitt, advising its institutional clients on their private market portfolios. He then went on to develop his career in a range of investor relations and fundraising facing roles including with BC Partners, OMERS, Rede Partners and Investcorp. At Investcorp, he was responsible for leading projects across multiple private equity strategies including primary fundraises, co-investments and secondaries. Sexton holds a degree in Economics from Durham University and is also a CFA Charterholder.

Fogtdal was most recently at Alvarez and Marsal in London where he was a Director for Private Equity Services. During this period, he was part of the firm’s private equity performance improvement initiatives in London, working across various industries, including technology, industrial engineering, aerospace, B2B and B2C retail sectors. He had a primary focus on post-merger integrations, transformation, post-deal value creation and due diligence activities. with brand name private equity clients. He holds a Masters degree from Columbia University in New York.
