Bulgarian private equity firm BlackPeak Capital has invested €6.8m in Bianor Holding, a software development company catering to the technology, media and telecommunications industries. 

BlackPeak’s investment forms part of Bianor’s overall €10m capital increase, which attracted 199 investors and is intended to support the company’s organic growth and accelerate its regional development in the US, Germany, Switzerland, the Nordics and the MENA through mergers and acquisitions.

As a result of the investment, Bianor will become the fifth company in the portfolio of BlackPeak’s Southeast Europe Growth Equity Fund, which oversees €126m.

According to a press release, Bianor’s capitalisation now exceeds €25m at the current stock price, which places it among the largest IT companies listed on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
